Our family getaway at View Lodge was a delightful experience. With two children under 12 in tow, we were greeted warmly by Marie, who made us feel right at home with her friendly hugs. The comfortable room, complete with heated blankets, ensured a cozy stay. The kids had a blast splashing around in the private pool, enjoying that exclusive family time.What truly stood out was the family-friendly atmosphere - from the accommodating staff to the breathtaking views of Gariep Dam. We cherished breakfasts overlooking the dam, a perfect start to our days. The caring host even surprised us with a small parting gift, a thoughtful touch that made our stay extra special.View Lodge is undeniably a haven for families seeking a welcoming retreat in a picturesque setting. We'll definitely be back if our travels bring us to the area again.
